Rooted in the Sanskrit concept of ‘DHI’, the book introduces the practical ‘Delete, Heal, Install’ framework for conscious and purposeful living

Ahmedabad : Author, edupreneur and human-development advocate Dr Manjula Pooja Shroff presented her latest book, DHI Alchemy: Reset Your Body’s Energy, Frequency and Transform Your Life, at an Author Unplugged interaction with media representatives in Ahmedabad.

Published by Rupa Publications, the book is based on the Sanskrit concept of ‘DHI’, which refers to wisdom, discernment and conscious intelligence. It presents a three-step framework — Delete, Heal and Install — aimed at helping readers examine existing patterns, address unresolved issues and consciously develop new habits and perspectives.

The book was earlier unveiled in Thiruvananthapuram by Kerala Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. According to the author, DHI Alchemy brings together insights from her three decades of experience in education and human development with concepts drawn from Ayurveda, Vedanta and Yoga.

“The DHI Alchemy framework is an invitation to pause, recognise what no longer serves us, heal what needs attention and consciously choose what we want to carry forward. I believe real transformation begins with awareness,” said Dr Shroff.

The book is structured around three dimensions — Mental, Physical and Spiritual (MPS) — and includes an assessment-based DHI Score. Readers can calculate separate scores for each dimension and combine them to identify areas that may require greater attention.

The 18 chapters cover subjects including words and silence, self-care, anxiety, goal-setting, nutrition, fasting, exercise, sleep, longevity, meditation, solitude, failure and gratitude. Dr Shroff said the book is intended to be revisited as readers’ circumstances and priorities change, positioning it as a continuing self-reflection guide rather than a one-time read.

DHI Alchemy follows Dr Shroff’s earlier books Baby Steps to Big Dreams (2023), which focuses on conscious parenting, and Safe Teen Steps: A Guide to Safety for Teenagers in Today’s Internet World (2024), which addresses digital safety and resilience among teenagers. The author’s latest work shifts the focus towards adult well-being and personal transformation, bringing together themes of education, psychology, leadership and conscious living. The book is available through Amazon and other leading book platforms.
