Škoda Auto India maintained its impressive growth trend in Q3 2025, achieving a remarkable 110% year-on-year increase in sales from July to September compared to the same period last year. In September 2025 alone, the brand sold 6,636 cars, reflecting a strong 101% year-on-year growth for that month. This momentum was driven by consistent demand for the Kylaq, alongside solid contributions from the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq models.
Commenting on the remarkable and steady growth, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, stated, “The festive season, along with the streamlined GST framework, has provided a significant boost to the industry. Our results for September and the third quarter showcase the positive customer response to our product lineup, especially the Kylaq, which has emerged as a key growth driver for us. With our expanding network and value-oriented ownership experience, we are dedicated to fostering deeper connections with our customers while propelling Škoda’s growth journey in India.”
Being Relevant : Škoda Auto India’s strong growth in 2025 has been anchored by its product offensive and expanding network. The Kylaq, the brand’s first-ever sub-4m SUV, has already crossed 34,500 units in sales, playing a pivotal role in the company achieving 53,355 units between January and September 2025. To mark 25 years of Škoda Auto in India, the company also introduced limited editions of the Kushaq, Slavia, and Kylaq, while continuing to expand its footprint with new customer touchpoints to over 315 touchpoints across 177 cities.
Driving Differentiation : In parallel, the brand has focused on building a stronger emotional connect with customers. With ‘Škoda Fan Fest’, we are celebrating the very spirit of community by putting our fans, and our owners, at the heart of the story. The launch of the ‘Fans, Not Owners’ campaign celebrated the fandom of Škoda owners, led by the popular ‘I love my Doda’ campaign. The company also organised city-specific off-road drives of the Kodiaq, offering customers and prospects a first-hand experience of its luxury and 4×4 capabilities. Notably, the Kodiaq also became the first petrol-powered SUV to reach Everest Base Camp, earning recognition in both the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records.
Enhancing Trust : Škoda Auto India has also strengthened customer engagement and trust with initiatives such as the ‘Fans of Škoda’ drives in Garli, Hampi, New Delhi, Mumbai, Leh, and other locations, and Exchange Carnivals across key metros including Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The brand is creating region-specific messaging in local languages to foster closer connections and build brand advocates nationwide. Further reinforcing its commitment to India, the company also recently introduced the Kodiaq Lounge, a new entry point to luxury 4×4 ownership.
With a carefully crafted strategy and essential actions aligned with all business priorities, Škoda Auto India is prepared to make this festive season its most significant one to date.
