Ahmedabad: A high-level delegation from Mauritius visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarters in Vadodara on Wednesday to study its functioning and explore setting up a similar framework in their country.
Led by Deputy Permanent Secretary Dhanita Ramdharee, the team, including advisor Darmalingum Mootien and Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajcoomar Seebah, was briefed by the Group Commander on NCC’s role in promoting leadership, discipline and nation-building among youth.
The delegation also visited the Gujarat NCC Leadership Academy at Rajpipla to observe training activities. Officials said the visit highlights strong India-Mauritius ties and aims to boost cooperation in youth development and capacity building.
