Pune-based AI workspace with 100,000+ monthly users to invest fresh capital in infrastructure, hiring and agent-based products

Pune: CurvetAI, an AI workspace that enables users to access and combine multiple AI models from a single platform, has raised ₹6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from a group of angel investors.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI has built a platform aimed at simplifying the increasingly fragmented AI ecosystem. The company currently has more than 100,000 monthly users globally, with India and the United States as its largest markets, and has begun generating revenue.

CurvetAI brings multiple AI capabilities into a single visual workspace, allowing users to work across models for text, images, audio and video, compare outputs and combine different capabilities within a workflow. The platform is also designed to route tasks to models best suited to specific requirements.  The fresh capital will be used to strengthen technology infrastructure, expand the team and develop agent-based capabilities, enabling CurvetAI to handle increasingly complex workflows on behalf of users.

Commenting on the funding, Vivek Dubey, Co-founder and CEO, CurvetAI, said the company aims to reduce the complexity created by the growing number of specialised AI models by making model selection and collaboration part of the platform itself.

Sheetal Bahl, Founding Partner, Merak Ventures, said CurvetAI had identified the growing complexity of the AI market early and demonstrated the ability to translate that insight into a product already being used at scale.

CurvetAI initially began as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts before evolving into a workspace where users could access and combine different AI models within the same project. The platform is now used by individuals, teams and educational institutions.

For AI model developers, CurvetAI also serves as a distribution channel to reach users, collect feedback and understand model usage. The company has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba, and is working with educational institutions across India.  CurvetAI’s founding team brings experience across technology and design. Co-founder and CEO Vivek Dubey studied design at the Symbiosis Institute of Design in Pune and has previously worked at Infosys, Microsoft and Google, while Co-founder and CTO Utkarsh Gupta has previously worked at Samsung and leads the company’s engineering and technical infrastructure.
