Vadodara : GSFC University has further strengthened its international academic engagement with Vietnam through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Economics and Finance (UEF), Vietnam. The MoU was signed on behalf of GSFC University by Prof. (Dr.) G. R. Sinha, Provost, GSFC University, and Dr. Nhan Cẩm Trí, Vice President, University of Economics and Finance (UEF), Vietnam, representing UEF.
The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for student semester exchanges, international internships, academic interaction and knowledge exchange, with particular benefits for students of the School of Management & Entrepreneurship at GSFC University. The collaboration will also facilitate academic exposure in emerging interdisciplinary areas including Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the integration of technology with business and management.
Through the partnership, students will have opportunities to complement classroom learning with international academic and industry exposure through semester exchange programmes, internships and cross-cultural engagement. The MoU will also provide a platform for faculty interaction, joint research initiatives, AI-focused research and innovation, joint academic programmes, workshops and knowledge-sharing activities between the two institutions.
The visit further included Dr. Bui Phan Anh Thu, Dean, HUTECH University, Vietnam, an existing MoU partner of GSFC University. Discussions during the visit explored opportunities to take the partnership forward through academic collaboration, student mobility, internships, interdisciplinary initiatives and joint research in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and technology-enabled education.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments and Associate Deans of GSFC University, reflecting the University’s continued efforts to expand global academic partnerships and create meaningful international learning opportunities for its students. The collaboration with UEF adds another dimension to GSFC University’s internationalisation initiatives and its focus on connecting students and faculty with global academic and industry ecosystems.
